BIOGRAPHY
Brittany Anne Snow was born to John and Cynthia Snow on March 9, 1986 in Tampa, Florida. Her career began at the
age of three when she modeled for Burdines. When Brittany was six she began dancing and auditioning for commercials.
Brittany was Broadway Dance, LA Dance Force, Underground, and The Pizzaz Competitive Dance Group as well as
filming a total of 15 commercials including ones for McDonalds, Disney, and Kmart. Brittany also participated in regional
theater, her credits include Pirates of Penzance, Annie, The King and I and South Pacific as well as a national tour of
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Her television debut was at the age of eight when she was in two
episodes of 'Seaquest DVS', followed by a role in the HBO Mini-series 'From the Earth to the Moon'.
Brittany's first major role was on the CBS Soap 'Guiding Light' as the headstrong, young Susan Lemay. Although the
Soap was based in New York, Brittany continued to reside in Tampa with her family in order to allow her some normalcy
in her life. She commuted between New York and Tampa to work on GL, while also maintaining her school work and
remaining an honor student. She has called her role as Susan her big break and was on the show from 1998-2001,
before leaving to pursue more acting oppurtunities.
Brittany auditioned for TV pilots based in L.A. after her stint on 'Guiding Light', including a WB pilot called 'Murphy's
Dozen' which was never picked up and the role that launched her career as Meg in the NBC show 'American Dreams'.
After landing the role she and her mother moved to L.A., 'American Dreams' aired for three years and has been followed
up by films such as 'The Pacifer', 'John Tucker Must Die' and the 2007 remake 'Hairspray'. Brittany has also done guest
spots on TV shows like 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit' and as the neo-Nazi high school student in 'Nip/Tuck'.
We can expect to see much more of this rising, young star with four films already in the works, I'm sure there is much
more to come.
